A new research project focuses on tendon rehabilitation. It aims to optimize treatment for tendon dysfunction by personalizing the dosing of tendon loading and aligning adjunctive treatments to give the tendon the environment and signals it needs to recover. The study is based on clinical performance measures, diagnostic imaging, and basic science methods.

The REHAB-LAB is an integrated FABLAB, intended for individualized assistive devices (IAD) provision involving occupational therapists and technical referents. Its success factors include ensuring to train people who will manage the REHAB-LAB, making adopters participate as much as possible, and staying connected with adopters through a collaborative platform. This will allow for the development of practices that can be shared. This project is part of the CoLearn’HIT initiative and carried out by the CMRRF Kerpape for the REHAB-LAB community.
